Allan Buus

I am a founder, an investor and a board member – and, at heart, a coach. Over twenty-five years – more than twenty of them in leadership roles, starting as Market Director at Lindcon at 23 – I have built and sold companies, led executive search practices, and helped leadership teams in industry, technology and defence become better at what they do.

 

Today I combine three things that rarely sit in the same chair: a deep understanding of leadership and talent, a strong network in the Nordic defence ecosystem, and hands-on experience of growing and exiting companies.

 

I am an ICC-certified coach and a certified Hogan practitioner, hold a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (HD) from Aarhus University and postgraduate studies from the University of Bradford, and I hold NATO security clearance.

 

I live near Hobro in North Jutland, where I also run a small estate. Alongside Lohbus, I am a Partner at Odgers Berndtson, where I lead the Aerospace, Defence & Security practice in Denmark as part of the firm’s global ADS practice group. That role keeps me close to the people and companies shaping the European defence and security sector – part of my professional network, not a service Lohbus sells.

 

Lohbus is also an InterForce member company, supporting cooperation between Danish Defence and civilian employers.
