Privacy policy

1. Who we are

Lohbus Holding ApS (trading as Lohbus), CVR 42358207, Sønder Ulstrupvej 30, 9500 Hobro, Denmark, is the data controller. Lohbus is a small company run by Allan Buus, who handles all personal data himself. Contact: allan@lohbus.com.

 

2. What we process and why

Enquiries via the website or email. Name, company, email and your message. We use them to answer your enquiry and follow up on a possible collaboration. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to and following up on business enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Business contacts and network. Name, title, company, work contact details and notes on our professional dialogue with founders, investors, board members and others in our network. We collect these from you, from public sources (such as company websites, the Danish Business Register and LinkedIn) or through introductions from mutual contacts. Purpose: maintaining our professional network and identifying possible engagements. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in professional networking and business development (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Engagements, due diligence and agreements. Contact details, roles and the information contained in agreements and due diligence material relating to companies we work with. Purpose: assessing, entering into and performing engagements. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) and legal obligations such as bookkeeping rules (Art. 6(1)(c)).

Website visits and cookies. Technical data needed to run and secure the website (Art. 6(1)(f)). Statistics cookies are only set with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) and the Danish cookie rules). You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings on the website.

Our LinkedIn company page. When you visit or follow our LinkedIn page, LinkedIn processes your data. For page statistics (Page Insights), Lohbus and LinkedIn Ireland are joint controllers, and LinkedIn is primarily responsible. See LinkedIn’s privacy policy, and contact LinkedIn to exercise your rights there.

We do not process CPR numbers or sensitive personal data unless the law requires it, and we never receive classified information.

 

3. Who receives the data

We never sell personal data. We use these processors and recipients:

  • Wix.com Ltd (website, hosting and contact form)

  • Apple (email and contacts via iCloud)

  • Usercentrics GmbH (cookie consent)

  • our bookkeeping system and our accountant and lawyers, who are bound by confidentiality

  • public authorities where the law requires it

Lohbus does not share personal data with Odgers Berndtson. Allan Buus is also a Partner at Odgers Berndtson, which is a separate data controller with its own privacy policy.

 

4. Transfers outside the EU/EEA

Wix.com Ltd is based in Israel, which the European Commission recognises as providing adequate protection. Wix stores data in the United States and Ireland. Transfers to the US are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with supplementary safeguards. Apple may transfer data to the US on the basis of the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses. Contact us for more information.

 

5. How long we keep data

  • Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact.

  • Network contacts: for as long as they are relevant. We review them at least once a year and delete them on request.

  • Agreements and accounting records: 5 years after the end of the financial year, as required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act.

 

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access your data

  • have it rectified or erased

  • restrict processing

  • data portability

  • object to processing based on our legitimate interest

  • withdraw consent at any time

7. Other information

Providing your data is voluntary, but without contact details we cannot answer your enquiry. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling. Access to the data is limited to Allan Buus.

 

8. Changes

We update this policy when our processing changes. The current version and date are shown at the top.
